Need a "lead foot" script for easy efficient ascent from planet.

I've been doing some searching this morning and can't seem to find this, despite how simple of a thing it seems. I'll keep trying, I feel that perhaps I'm just not hitting the right key words.

Goal is this: to ascend to space from planet, I just want to mash the space bar until the ship is in space.

The ship will accelerate using atmospheric and ion engines to full capacity, and automatically regulate usage of hydrogen engines. This means that the hydrogen will not be burning away full...
