help please: building a Sol-counter/clock

I have been nursing this idea for a few months now, and scouring the Steam workshop... but there's still nothing that comes close enough to what I really want to do.

I've seen several scripts that have functions that this one could probably use to get the job done, but I'm a total non-programmer without the foggiest clue how to write or read C#...
...but the lack of this dream program is really annoying/motivating me to try and figure it out, so I'm really begging for some patience...
