I'm developing a script that controls some my large ships blocks, stuff like gravity generators and turrets. The idea is that the ship has three modes; passive, defensive, and assault mode. Each mode has a different configuration of what blocks are on and what aren't. This way I don't have to string up a bunch of timer blocks all over the place or get a mod so I can use the script in non modded worlds.
